serious fix

How the hell do you muck up a demo this badly? There is no tutorial (like in the beginning of the game). You are basically left with these guys telling you what to do and even though they are telling you, over and over again, you can’t do a thing because you were never taught how to do it in the first place. I really wanted to want to play this game mostly because Dan Aykroyd and the others are voicing the characters … and because they wrote it … but come on, people. Put out a demo that will get people into it. There was so little care put into this demo it makes me wonder if I would even like this game … AND I WANT TO DAMMIT!

Looks great. Plays like a slug, but oddly fun. I hate the fact that I have to stop to aim and shoot. I also hate the fact that getting to my inventory is done in real time. Sheva, your partner in single player, sucks. She gets in front of you, steals ammo and always ends up in trouble. I was kind of hoping she would die so I wouldn’t have to deal with her. I even tried to shoot her a few times. All in all, I may trade some games in for this. I don’t know. I really liked the tense feeling I got from the demo.

Looks great. When you are racing the controls are great. Be careful not to hit the rewind button (if you F up you can hit rewind and replay the part where you screwed the pooch) because it can be annoying. I stopped playing because of this. Maybe I will try it again. I doubt it. If you can endure the slow down of an accidental rewind, this game will be awesome for you.

Graphics are fair. Voice acting good. Gameplay is rot, or at least I don’t like it. The demo is free. Download it if you want to kick yourself in the ass.
